Communications Consultant
Kristi Pelzel is a Washington, DC-based Communication Consultant and Freelancer with almost ten years of experience in broadcast, government, and corporate media and communications. Partnered with Latitude Media, as a contractor for the Biological Threat Reduction Program this summer, she worked in multiple countries on video media which dealt with unifying messages among varying missions and cultures to achieve goals. This theme resonates across many of the projects she's been a part of and a critical component to achieving buy-in or meeting 'organization' goals versus 'departmental' goals.
Kristi is a 2nd-year Communication, Culture & Technology (
CCT) graduate student at Georgetown's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and is also serving on the student board. She is a 2019
Pat Tillman FoundationScholar. This fall Kristi launched and is managing, a Tech Lab in support of Georgetown's
Pivot Program, to help reintegrate formerly incarcerated persons back into DC communities. Next spring, she'll be working with
Bower Group Asia in their communication division to explore the intersection of international policy and strategic media production.
